Celebrating TOGETHER
please take note of the following:
Staci and I are so thankful for all the prayer, love, and support so many of you have given to us over the years. As we sought out how to proceed with options and plans for a ceremony, we deeply wanted something our immediate families (most of them) could participate in, and we also didn’t want to wait many months (or years as some do!). Fairly quickly, it became evident that we couldn’t easily accommodate many of our friends and extended family with the constraints we had and how we believed the Lord was leading, so we kept things “simple, sacred, and soon.”
It is still our deep desire to connect with you who have continued in support of us and our lives, so WE DO invite you to celebrate our marriage with us—to enjoy and celebrate the grace and love of God towards us. We hope to do this in the future, primarily in person, with families, friends, groups, & individuals wherever and however we can!
Now together as one, we also hope to do this in some manner for the rest of our lives because the purpose and foundation of this marriage union is to delight in Jesus by receiving His generous love and giving it away.
Specifically, this is to love the Lord with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength, and to love and care for our neighbor in the same way we love & care for ourselves. One of the primary gifts we both enjoy employing in this way of life is the language of music. Our passion is to create and use music to encourage, exhort, edify, teach, & train others as a tool in God’s hand for the benefit of those He is calling out of the domain of darkness into the kingdom of light.
In the same way, we invite you to rethink reality. To be willing to change the way you see yourself, the way you see God, and the way you see the people around you – to know and understand that although God opposes the proud and self-justifying, He generously gives grace and salvation to the humble who trust Him & pursue Him with all their heart.
